A thrill seeker from the very beginning, Reed began skiing at three years old. His natural agility and enthusiasm for speed propelled him to become an accomplished skier, but the rarified arena of freestyle skiing is what keeps his adrenaline pumping today. Reed Lewis, the Black Man on Skis (BMOS), is rising to the top of an exciting group of competitors in this popular and powerful sport.

Since 2003, Reed has placed in numerous freeski events from Whistler, BC to Mt. Hood, to Mammoth and Aspen. As coach for Team Park City United (awarded the best freeski club in the nation 2015) in the winters, the head ski coach for the elite Windell's Ski and Snowboard summer camps and founder of the Reed Lewis Safety and Basics Park and Pipe Freeride Clinic℠, Reed is committed to introducing young skiers from all over the country to the sport that is his passion.

"There is nothing I don't enjoy on the mountain:

powder, park, speed racing, jibbing, backcountry, aerials,

I love it ALL!"
